Ayurveda, which means the ‘science of life’, is an age old medicinal system from India. The system contains clear guidelines for a healthy living as well as treating ailments – through massages, therapies, exercise, proper diet, etc. According to Ayurveda, the body is made up of the three doshas, where Vata is air, Pita is Fire and Kapha is water. A person is said to be in good health when there is a balance between the three doshas.
Yoga and meditation are the gateways to wholesome living. Combined with Ayurveda, practising these will direct a person towards good physical and mental health. This is why we offer daily yoga and meditation classes for our guests.
